山形県鶴岡市にある羽黒山は、月山登拝の入口の一つであるとともに、月山のハヤマにあたり、古くから庄内平野の人々の信仰を集めてきた。この羽黒山に伝わる冬の峰は、松聖と呼ばれる二人の山伏が、「天下泰平・国土安穏・風雨順時・五穀豊穣」を祈願して百日間の厳しい籠り行を行うことで知られている。この行では農小屋をかたどったものの中に、五穀が収められた筒を入れた興屋の聖と呼ばれる御神体が斎壇に飾られる。松聖は、豊かな実りを確かなものとするために、朝夕、穀霊の宿った興屋聖に祈願を続ける。百日間の行が満願を迎える大晦日は、羽黒山を支える手向地区の村祭、松例祭（歳夜祭）でもある。二人の松聖は、その修業の成果によって来年の吉凶を占うことで、松例祭の中心的な役割を果たすとともに、彼らが育んだ穀母は来たるべき実りを約束するものとなる。大聖坊十三代目の星野文紘（尚文）氏が位上松聖を勤めた年に、フィールドワーカーが撮影した貴重な記録である。 （51分／2009年／2007,2008年撮影／SD／カラー／レターボックス16:9） 【監督・撮影・編集】天野移山 【撮影】遠藤協／黒沼雄太／布施桜 【編集協力】戸谷健吾 【協力】出羽三山神社／大聖坊／多摩美術大学芸術人類学研究所 【収録内容】 大聖坊…
